Concrete drilling on the Sunshine Coast forms accurate openings in existing concrete with reinforcement and services accounted for.

Project Overview

Concrete Drilling Sunshine Coast

Core holes, saw cuts and openings made cleanly through existing concrete, with reinforcement and services checked before the bit goes in.

Precision matters when it comes to drilling into concrete, whether you're installing plumbing, electrical conduit, or structural supports. Our concrete drilling Sunshine Coast team uses professional-grade equipment to deliver clean, accurate holes without cracking, chipping, or compromising the surrounding slab.

We work across residential and commercial projects, handling everything from small core drilling jobs to larger structural penetrations. Every job starts with a proper assessment of slab thickness, reinforcement, and underlying services, so drilling is done safely and correctly the first time.

Whether you need drilling for new installations, retrofits, or repairs, our team brings the accuracy and reliability that concrete work demands. We show up on time, work cleanly, and get the job done without unnecessary disruption to your site or schedule.

What We Drill

Our Sunshine Coast Concrete Drilling Services

Drilling is what you need when concrete is already in place and something has to pass through it or be fixed to it. We core-drill penetrations for plumbing, stormwater, electrical conduit, downpipes and air conditioning lines, cut openings through walls and slabs, and drill fixing holes for handrails, balustrades, pool fencing, shade structures, bollards and gates.

The other half of the work is drilling for connections between old and new concrete. That includes holes for chemical anchors and starter bars where a slab or wall is being extended, dowel holes so a new pour ties into an existing one across a joint, and saw-cutting to form clean edges or new control joints in a slab that never had enough of them.

Almost all of it is done wet. Water keeps the diamond bit cool, dramatically extends its life and stops silica dust getting into the air, which matters enormously if we are working inside your house. The trade-off is slurry, so we contain and vacuum it up as we go rather than letting it run across your floor or out onto the driveway. Where wet drilling is not practical, we drill dry with extraction at the head.

Working With Us

One of the Best Concrete Drilling Companies on the Sunshine Coast

The single most important thing in this work is knowing what is inside the slab before you start. Cut through structural reinforcement, a post-tensioning cable or a live conduit and you have turned a half-hour job into a serious problem. We scan before we drill, work off the structural drawings where they exist, and adjust the hole position rather than pressing on and hoping. If the position you have marked cannot be drilled safely, you will hear that from us before anything is cut.

Accuracy is the other half of it. A cored hole is permanent, so the set-out matters: correct position, correct diameter, square to the surface, and a clean edge that does not need patching afterwards. We would rather spend the extra ten minutes marking out with you than drill a hole in approximately the right place.

Practically, that means contained slurry, protected floors, holes where they are supposed to be, and honest advice about when a penetration needs engineering sign-off rather than just a drill. Send us the location, the diameter and depth you need, what the hole is for and roughly how thick the concrete is, and we can usually price it straight away.
