Project Overview
Asphalt remains one of the most cost-effective and durable options for driveways, car parks, and larger paved areas. Our asphalt Sunshine Coast team delivers professional asphalt laying services for residential and commercial properties, with a focus on proper base preparation and long-term surface performance.
We handle every stage of the process, from site preparation and compaction through to asphalt laying and finishing, ensuring a smooth, even surface that holds up to vehicle traffic and weather exposure. Our team is experienced in both new installations and resurfacing projects, helping extend the life of existing asphalt surfaces.
Whether you need a new driveway, car park, or access road, our team delivers asphalt solutions built for durability and cost-efficiency. A properly laid asphalt surface offers reliable performance with minimal ongoing maintenance.
What We Surface
Repair work is the other half of it. Potholes, edge breaks, cracking and depressions all get worse once water finds its way into the base, so patching and crack sealing early is considerably cheaper than resurfacing later. Where a surface has failed because the base underneath it failed, we will say so, because an overlay on a soft base is money spent twice.
Underneath, the process is the same as any good driveway: excavate to depth, lay and compact road base, then place the asphalt at temperature and roll it while it is still hot enough to compact properly. Edges need containing so they do not crumble, and falls need to move water off the surface rather than letting it sit. Get the base and the compaction right and asphalt performs well for a long time.

Working With Us
We will also be upfront about how asphalt behaves in this climate, because it is not the right answer everywhere. It softens through a run of hot Sunshine Coast days, so it can mark under a car left standing in one spot, or under trailer and jockey wheels. It needs sealing periodically to stay in good condition. And on a steep driveway or a small residential area, concrete usually ends up being the better long-term decision. If your job is one of those, we would rather tell you now.
Where asphalt is the right call, particularly for larger areas, long driveways and car parks, you get a properly prepared base, correct thickness for the traffic, compaction done while the mix is hot, contained edges and drainage that works. Tell us the area, what will be driving on it and what is there now, and we will price the base and the surface honestly.
